PREDATOR BOWFISHING – POLICIES & TERMS

While our main goal is to serve our guests with the best experience possible, we do have some policies and procedures in place to make sure that is possible. Listed below are all of the standard policies here at Predator Bowfishing.

By booking and paying for a charter with Predator Bowfishing, the individual making the reservation (“Booking Party”) acknowledges and agrees, on behalf of themselves and all participants, to the following terms and conditions.

1. Booking & Payment Policy

A deposit is required to secure all charter bookings. The remaining balance is due at the time of the trip unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.

Failure to arrive at the scheduled time, or failure to communicate delays, may result in cancellation of the trip without refund.

The Booking Party is responsible for confirming the number of participants prior to the trip. Pricing and vessel arrangements may vary based on group size.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • No Refund will be issued if the customer cancels the trip.
  • Partial Refund may be issued at the sole discretion of the Captain in certain circumstances.
  • Full Refund will be issued if the Captain cancels the trip prior to departure.

Once the trip has begun, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including early termination due to participant behavior, weather changes, or other conditions.

3. Safety & Assumption of Risk

All vessels, bows, and equipment used during the charter are routinely inspected and maintained to ensure they are in safe working condition prior to each trip. While every reasonable precaution is taken to promote safety, participants understand that bowfishing and boating activities involve inherent and unavoidable risks.

These risks include, but are not limited to: operating and riding in a boat on open water; exposure to changing weather and environmental conditions; navigating marsh and coastal environments in South Louisiana; encountering wildlife, including reptiles and other native species; and the use and handling of archery equipment.

By participating in the charter, all passengers voluntarily assume all risks of injury, loss, or damage, whether arising from inherent risks or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted under the laws of the State of Louisiana.

The Booking Party affirms that they have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of all participants. For any minor participants, the Booking Party represents that they are the parent or legal guardian, or have obtained consent from the parent or legal guardian, and accept full responsibility for the minor’s participation.

The Booking Party agrees to inform all participants of these terms prior to the charter. By completing the booking and submitting payment, the Booking Party acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to this policy.

4. Alcohol & Intoxication Policy

Guests are permitted to bring and consume alcohol (“BYOB”) during the charter; however, safety remains the highest priority at all times.

The Captain and crew reserve the sole and absolute discretion to determine whether any participant is impaired or otherwise unfit to safely participate in bowfishing activities or to remain aboard the vessel. This includes, but is not limited to, visible intoxication, unsafe handling of equipment, or behavior that poses a risk to themselves, others, or the vessel.

If, at any time, the Captain or crew determines that a participant’s condition or behavior compromises safety, the charter may be modified, suspended, or terminated. This may include restricting participation, returning to the dock early, or ending the trip entirely.

In such cases, no refunds or discounts will be issued.

The Booking Party is responsible for ensuring that all participants act in a safe and responsible manner throughout the charter.

5. Captain Authority & Conduct Policy

The Captain and crew maintain full authority over all aspects of the charter to ensure the safety of all participants and the vessel.

All participants are required to follow instructions given by the Captain and crew at all times. Any behavior deemed unsafe, reckless, or disruptive—including failure to follow instructions, improper handling of equipment, or conduct that endangers others—may result in removal from participation or termination of the trip.

The Captain’s decision in all matters related to safety and operation is final.

No refunds will be issued in the event a trip is modified or terminated due to participant conduct.

6. Weather & Conditions Policy

Charters operate in a variety of weather and environmental conditions common to South Louisiana. The Captain will determine, at their sole discretion, whether conditions are safe to proceed.

If conditions are deemed unsafe prior to departure, the trip may be rescheduled or refunded in full.

Once the trip has begun, changes in weather or environmental conditions may require modification or early termination of the charter. In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed and will be handled at the Captain’s discretion.

7. No Guarantee of Catch

Bowfishing is an outdoor activity influenced by weather, water conditions, and natural wildlife patterns. While every effort is made to provide an enjoyable and successful experience, no guarantee is made regarding the number or type of fish caught during any charter.

Agreement Acknowledgment

By booking and submitting payment, the Booking Party acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all Policies & Terms outlined above on behalf of all participants in their group.
